LeeAnna's Crinkle-Edged Fused Binding
For a quick binding for a small art quilt:.
1) cut about a one inch strip the length of each side of the quilt. Four strips.
2) Iron on fusible webbing to wrong side of binding fabric.
3) Fold and place ruler over binding strip and align on 3/8 inch mark so you can use a pinking edge rotary         to trim along the long edge.

(note: you can trim one side at a time to make it easier and
the green mats are easier to use than harder ones when using the pinking blade)   press hard.to cut

4)After removing any fusible paper backing,  lay binding wrong side up on ironing board., Lay quilt (face up) with the edge over half,of the binding strip.  Curl  the front edge of binding aligning the amount you like to see (I usually am happy with 1/4 inch showing)  Press.Trim ends flush with corner.

.5) Turn over and press the binding snugly over the back, encasing the raw edge
6) Repeat on opposite  quilt edge. Now you have two opposite sides done.

7)Time to do the last two sides.  Cut a miter with scissor angling the cut diagonally across the binding so it looks angled, and  press down the binding on top  with the miter laying on top of the original butted edges
Press binding to back again. Repeat on opposite side.
8) DONE! I usually go in now and top stitch or couch a thread down
